[KITlist-Tech] CONTR: Javascript Engineer (Node.JS, Mongo DB) (San Jose, CA)

Javascript Engineer needed to contribute to long term project at OTM. End client is Stable/Public/Growing.

Must have expererience with node.js, Mongo DB.

Local candidates with Local experience preferred.

Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain an understanding of enterprise platform and it´s supporting technologies.
* Work with engineering and client stakeholders to design, develop and deploy high quality applications for the enterprise platform.
* Implement standards compliant applications combining rich web user interfaces with supporting web services.
* Focus on quality and scalability to ensure an excellent end-user experience.
* Work within an Agile development process, applying team software quality practices including test driven development and continuous integration.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of team software development processes, practices and tooling, to ensure efficient development and ongoing maintenance.

You will have:

* 5-10 years of industry experience creating and rolling out applications.
* 5 years experience developing web user interfaces and web services, including large scale deployments.
* Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrable ability to share ideas, concepts and vision with a wide variety of project stakeholders.
* Strong Object-Oriented analysis design and development skills
* Proven record as an innovative problem solver and out-of-the-box thinker.
* Experience of the full development lifecycle, ideally within an Agile-like development process
* Experience with code quality practices including unit testing, design & code reviews

Programming Languages and Technologies

Required:

* Javascript, node.js
* AJAX, JSON, XML with experience of open source Javascript libraries
* Databases - Mongo DB
* Web Protocols : HTTP, SOAP and REST
* Tomcat and/or IBM WebSphere
* Tools: Firebug, Eclipse, Rally, Maven, Hudson, Subversion, JTest, Selenium
* Apache Web Server

Highly Desirable:

* Alfresco DMS
* SOLR Search
* Spring, Hibernate, Log4J
