Job Title: Senior Software Quality Assurance Tester / SQA Tester
Location: San Francisco
Duration: 10 plus months

Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Tester. The individual must have successfully qualified software components as part of large, highly integrated, enterprise class development projects. The position requires strong systems thinking ability, integration test expertise, white and gray box analytical skills, attention to detail and significant experience working with Databases and SQL to verify data accuracy.
Job Responsibilities:
• Create detailed test designs and conditions, and execute
• Provide traceability from business requirements and technical specifications to test conditions and problem reports.
• Analysis and test execution of user and system interface functionality
• Participate in detailed review walkthrough sessions
• Track issues to successful resolution
• Collect metrics to measure test progress & quality outcomes
• Participate in special projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's or higher Degree
• 5+ years SQA experience in complex technical environments
• SQL expertise
• Significant experience in back-end interface, white box testing
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience using HP Quality Center
• Experience with Data Warehousing
• Experience with Data Warehouse Reporting tools (ie Business Objects)
• Test Certification
Specific Skills:
• Expert research and analytical skills involving technical and business process documentation - including system architecture, detailed design, and requirements
• Demonstrated experience in developing comprehensive and accurate test designs and conditions through research and analysis of documentation; and from socializing with technical and business experts
• Significant experience designing and executing QA black, white and gray box test conditions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to successfully participate as a SQA team member on large, complex projects from design through Production deployment
• Easy and adaptive personality
• Fast, accurate & enthusiastic self-starter
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels (i.e. Management, SQA, DEV, Business Partners, Security, etc.)
• Independent thinker with tenacity to maintain focus on issues until satisfied they are adequately resolved
• Knowledge of industry standards and SQA best practices
• Experience with various SDLC frameworks.
• Ability to track complex problems in a dynamic and evolving environment to thorough and complete resolution.
