[KITlist-Tech] Lead UI Engineer (Javascript libraries) (Santa Clara, CA)

Hello -

I need strong web UI experience with Javascript experience. Specific domain background is not required, though a plus. This role will include mentoring and leadership responsibilities, so it is a great opportunity with a ground floor startup!

Responsibilities

- The engineer joining the team is expected to work on the design, development and implementation of our UI for the provisioning application suite

- We expect the engineer to be an expert with Javascript and familiar with Java/Spring technologies to build rich internet applications.

- Lead the UI development and also provide UE leadership for the design of the user interface

- Serve as the point of contact for integration with external management frameworks for cloud management.

Requirements

- BS/MS in EE/CS with a minimum of 7+ years of directly related experience with UI development

- Experience with libraries such as YUI, JQuery, ExtJS, etc.

- Experience working on enterprise or consumer web applications, UI development, building commercially shipping rich client applications

- Ability to communicate designs and provide user experience expertise

- Experienced with employing common UI design patterns (MVP, Dependency Injection etc.)

- Experience building user interfaces interfacing with RESTful APIs on the backend

- Knowledge of web application development (end to end)

- Excellent communication skills

- Quick learner in a fast-paced environment and able to handle delivery pressures under tight schedules
