Sr. Product Manager
Our client is in search of an articulate and creative product management professional with excellent product definition skills. We are a profitable company growing by leaps and bounds and yet we are nimble with a highly-skilled, hands-on marketing team. We are looking for a professional with the ability to think and act strategically paired with their strong communications and writing skills. We have a lengthy list of customers, which is growing by the day, so you will be given the opportunity for impact with a truly compelling and growing product base.
Areas of Impact:
Enterprise security
Virtualization and cloud computing
Key management and Identity management solutions
Responsibilities:
Maintain a "birds' eye view" of the security space to anticipate new opportunities for the business
Perform competitive analysis and product positioning strategies and tactics
Create high impact Product Requirements Documents and other technical collateral
Work closely with the VP of Marketing to identify issues in the product roadmap and spearhead product management initiatives
Team with product marketing to evaluate new products, anticipate market trends, and adjust the product roadmap accordingly
Team with marketing programs to provide data for high impact lead generation and solution awareness campaigns
Desired Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business Related Discipline; MBA a major plus
Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a product management
Excellent communication and writing skills
Industry experience in key management, data security or virtualization and cloud computing
Knowledge of encryption and data security markets strongly preferred
Startup/small company experience highly desirable
Ability to prioritize and think strategically
