Infoblox based in Santa Clara, Ca pioneered the development of core network services appliances, which deliver utility-grade domain name resolution (DNS), IP address assignment and management (DHCP/IPAM), configuration (TFTP/HTTP), and network time (NTP). Infoblox solutions control and automate the core services that drive all networks and applications. Core network services are essential for all networks and applications. Put simply: without core network services, IP-based networks and applications grind to a halt. They provide the "glue" that binds networks, users, devices, applications, and policies. Technical Support Engineer

The Technical Support Engineer will assist Infoblox's enterprise customers (predominantly US based) and Infoblox Sales team by providing Technical Support and troubleshooting Infoblox products. Methods of contact with customers / Sales will include phone/voice (both inbound and outbound); e-mail and web based case management system. In addition to comprehensive protocol and product training, Technical Support Engineers will also participate in online training and continuing education programs by Infoblox training team from HQ.

Skills and Experience:

· 5+ years Systems administration/network administration background

· Strong networking and TCP/IP architecture knowledge.

· Understanding of one or more operating systems (Microsoft/Linux) desirable.

· Ability and desire to learn DNS, DHCP, other product related protocols and technology. .

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to support and communicate with customers over the phone or preferred communication method by customer.

· Excellent research/technical and troubleshooting skills

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences/ Engineering from a reputable University/Institute.
