Enterprise Software Sr. Product Manager Contractor (Sunnyvale, CA)
We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Software Sr. Product Manager contractor for a client opportunity at an Enterprise Software/BPM company. This is an inbound product management role, defining new products, the product roadmap and working with the engineering team to bring new products to the market.
Primary responsibilities will include rationalizing the defined requirements, prioritize them and gain buy in from internal and external constituents.
Other responsibilities include:
• Develop product specifications and own the product roadmap
• Work with engineering to design features and develop release time line
• Work with marketing to align events, launch and release cycles
• Work with marketing to develop strong value proposition and capabilities match
• Understand the competitive landscape and be the go-to person for the competitive intelligence
• Train sales and business development on the product
• Become a thought leader in the product space
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience
• 5+ years of experience in product management of enterprise software
• Proven track record of taking product from vision to production
• Demonstrate ability to think out-of-the box to solve complex problems
• Effective communicator at engineering and managerial levels
• Must be a team player; proven ability to work with a large, matrixed global organization
• Ability to work with international development team
• Managing cloud related product(s) and strong UI experience are a strong plus.
• Engineering or computer science bachelors, and preferably, a master's degree
This is a 40 hour per week, onsite project at the client's offices in the south bay. This is a w2 role with Stage 4 Solutions.
