We are looking to add a Software Engineer to focus on White-Box Testing and QA. We´re looking for an engineer who is passionate about working on backend services and experience in developing test plans and test cases for large scale services.
You will be responsible for developing test plans, test cases, as well as automation for testing mobile products. This role also includes manual testing of cases not covered with automation. Position is located in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities
* Plan, design, and implement test plans and test cases
* Work closely with both product managers and software engineers to help ensure the reliability of our applications
* Test our products with relentless passion for quality and scalability
* Maintain and extend existing automation scripts
* Report defects and follow up on them through resolution
* Report on release readiness base on test coverage and success rates
Qualifications
* BA/BS in Computer Science
* 3 plus years of QA White-Box Testing experience
* must have experience writing code and building applications to test code
* Hands on coding skills in PHP, C++ or similar
* Experience with test automation for at least 2 products
* Experience with testing large scale backend services is a definite plus
* Prior experience with test framework such as JUnit or equivalent
* Bachelors degree Computer Science or similar
* Previous startup experience and development in an Agile development life cycle is desired
