Experis, a ManpowerGroup Company, has an internal job opening for a CISCO Engagement Manager within our Project Solutions Group.

JOB SUMMARY:
Primary responsibility is to provide pre-sales support and delivery oversight to CISCO. Duties include accountability for resource management, schedule management, quality management, deliverable management and scope management for assigned project engagements. Manage day-to-day responsibilities of assigned project(s), ensuring that quality and efficiency of deliverables are met or exceeded within the budget and timeline determined and according to customer expectations. Act as primary customer relationship manager during project engagements by serving as customers main contact from inception to completion of project. Expected to coordinate with internal Experis operational elements (such as QMO, PMO, HR, Recruiting, Finance, etc.) to insure the continuity of operations prior to, during and upon completion of a project engagement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Sales and Proposal Development
Work on a pre-project basis to develop project concept and specifications, aid in defining requirements before releasing a response to a Request for Information (RFI) or Request for Proposal (RFP); assist in developing the Statement of Work (SOW) for projects.

Responsible for compliance with Managed Solutions sales management process while performing sales support activities.

Assist in reviewing, completing and submitting proposals, ensure the validity of delivery dates and commitments, as well as methodology compliance, ensure that project plans and statements of work conform to standards, prepare gross margin worksheets, etc.

Lead development and professionally deliver client presentations as required to support sales opportunities.

Coordinate with Practice Manager to maintain resource forecasts consistent with practice sales pipeline; coordinate and schedule project staff ramp up, preparation of Project Plan and project kickoff meetings in conjunction with Project Manager.

Comply with usage, maintenance and timely transmittal of information to insure accuracy and integrity of internal Experis business applications and processes.

When identified as a subject matter expert, responsible for creation of both internal and external competency materials to support sales, marketing and develop and maintain delivery methodologies; assist with sales calls to support competency as requested; perform market research to stay abreast of recent trends and continuously improve service offering.

Project Oversight
Establishes and develops client relationships in order to insure successful delivery and client satisfaction while assuring that the project engagement is delivered in accordance with approved Managed Solutions policies and procedures.

Responsible for training and mentoring one or more Project Managers on developed and approved project management disciplines (e.g., project control, reporting standards, change control, etc,), as well as assuring their adherence.

Responsible for managing the daily activities of one or more Project Managers (e.g., delegate and assign project work, monitor workload, assure deadlines, etc.).

As required by management, monitor performance of the project via various reporting tools (e.g., identify areas of risk and concern, recommends solution and appropriate course of action, etc.). Also conducts periodic project reviews to determine compliance with contractual obligations, delivery commitments and client satisfaction.

Responsible for management, review and approval of project scope and any subsequent changes to project baseline during execution; responsible for transmitting information related to project scope changes to the QMO (approved change orders, staffing changes, end date extensions, etc.).

Responsible for project gross margin performance within approved parameters as defined by management; responsible for providing financial forecasts for contracted engagements.

Responsible for insuring appropriate protection and retention of contracted deliverables and project management deliverables for assigned project engagements; responsible for capturing project history as directed by management;

Responsible for insuring on-going project compliance with the Project Management Quality Management System; responsible for coordinating with ISO Coordinator to administer compliance audits and reviews; develop and document best practices and forward to appropriate knowledge management repositories.

Work with appropriate Project Manager and Consultant Services Manager to plan employee development, assess the overall performance of the project team, and determine appropriate staffing levels, etc.

Responsible for developing and maintaining account relationship with peers as appropriate within the customer organization; provide escalation contact for customer, once the project is in progress, in order to answer any questions regarding project status, diffuse issues promptly, etc.; provide high level status reports to client executive management as required.

Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience, in a business or information systems related field with a minimum of 10 years experience in Information Technology, and a minimum of 8 years prior consulting experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment, including at least 5 years prior experience managing information technology professionals and projects working within a large strategic account customer.

Position requires demonstrated ability to manage strategic account customer engagements generating monthly revenues exceeding $500,000.

The ability to identify problems and potential problems and implement effective solutions independently is required.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to deal effectively with employees and customers at all levels and cultivate relationships resulting in continued growth of business within defined customer accounts.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) and strong analytical skills, as well as organizational and follow-up skills are required. Must possess ability to juggle multiple priorities, as well as maintain a high level of initiative.
