[KITlist-Tech] Online Technical Community Sr. Product Manager (San Francisco, CA)

We are looking for a talented Product Manager who will own the online technical community for a leading provider of technical news, reporting and technical communities. The goal is to take this leading technical community to the next level with an inspiring vision, passion, and bias for action.

This is a 6 month project (possibility of extensions and conversion to FTE), 40 hours per week role, onsite role at the client´s offices in San Francisco, CA. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions´ employee.

Responsibilities:
.Define the product vision, strategy and roadmap gaining consensus in the team
.Define positioning, messaging, user personas and value propositions for the products
.Conduct competitive analysis and define key use cases for new product feature releases
.Articulate clear goals to meet the strategy and track key metrics to measure success
.Own go-to-market launch planning to ensure successful, integrated launches for new features
.Build and manage your product backlog, collecting ideas from the wider organization and ensuring clear communication of priorities and progress
.Manage rapid and iterative product releases being the central point of communication right through to post-launch follow-up
.Work with online marketing, sales and support, business development, PR and other cross-functional teams to maximize market awareness, market leadership and customer satisfaction.
.Balance internal and external feedback by proactively seeking feedback from the user community and collaborating with partners and customers.

Required Experience:
.Bachelors degree required, MBA or other graduate degree a plus.
.5 to 10 years of Product Management experience in consumer internet or SaaS company.
.Experience with open source, social media, crowdsourcing or other community-driven products is a plus.
.Experience with e-commerce sites, ideally
.Experience with Agile/SCRUM Development Method
.Incredible analytical skills and a naturally inquisitive style using data to drive decisions
.A passion for UX and an uncanny knack for knowing what users want and understand with solid understanding of A/B and multivariate testing
.Excellent and creative written and oral communication skills
.Entrepreneurial spirit with relentless focus on "getting things done"
