Senior Product Manager - Mobile Security
Description
Our client is looking for a Senior Product Manager to manage products that offer secure data, identity, and workspace mobility. The position will report to the Director of Product Management.
The ideal candidate will be a communicator, collaborator, and thinker and will focus on translating market needs into product and solutions in an innovative and timely way. The right candidate will stand up for effective, proven methods to build a successful product line, and will seek out ways to both drive near-term revenue and realize corporate strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Own several Imation Mobile Security (IMS) hardware products
• Research markets to determine size, opportunity, and fit for IMS products
• Develop business cases for new products and features
• Make buy, build, or partner decisions
• Work with Product Marketing to define the positioning of products and solutions
• Assist Product Marketing with competitive analysis
• Research and establish pricing for your product portfolio
• Transform market requirements into product requirements
• Work with Development to refine product requirements and ensure timely delivery to the market
• Own the roadmap for your product portfolio
• Position will focus primarily on the hardware aspects of product development, but role will also require some knowledge of software development processes
Qualifications:
• Bachelor´s degree in Business, Engineering, CS, Marketing, or equivalent
• 5-9 years experience with a minimum 5 years experience as a Product Manager
• Experience with one or more of data security, computer peripherals, or USB products
• Strong technical background
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong project management background
• Detail oriented
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum a strong plus

Compensation = Base 150k + bonus
