Robert Half International is seeking a Software Engineer III to analyze, design, program, debug, modify and test local, network, or internet-related computer programs using the current programming languages and technologies adopted by Robert Half International (RHI). This individual creates vital documentation according to company standards regarding requirements, design, configuration, installation and maintenance. The Software Engineer interfaces with users to define systems requirements and/or necessary modifications and upgrades. It is the Engineer's responsibility to incorporate RHI development standards to ensure the continuity of applications.
• BS or MS degree and 7+ years previous software development experience • 5+ years developing J2EE Applications (EJB, JSP, Servlets, JMS, JDBC, XML/XSLT related technologies and Web Services) • In-depth knowledge of Java frameworks, tools and practices such as Spring, SOA, Hibernate, OSGI • Full software development lifecycle experience, must be comfortable working using Agile methodology as well as interactive methodologies • Fluency in applying design patterns • Provide technical guidance and mentor other engineers in the team • 2+ yrs minimum developing Swing applications • 6+ months minimum experience with BEA WebLogic or other Java Application Servers • Desirable Sun Certifications: Programmer for the Java Platform or Developer for the Java Platform • Detailed knowledge of relational databases and associated tools • Independent self-starter who is highly focused and results oriented • Excellent problem solving skills and strong debugging skills • Good planning, organization and writing skills • Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills • High integrity and desire to work in a team environment • Ability to work with all levels of employees "Follow us on Twitter for RHI Corporate job openings and career and workplace news! http://twitter.com/RHI_Corp_Jobs " Robert Half International Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
