Title: Oracle Apps DBA/Oracle DBA
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 3-6 mos (renewable per quarter)
Experis has multiple positions for Strong Oracle Apps consultants with very good Oracle DBA skills.
Requirement:
-8+ years in Oracle Apps 11i/R12 and Oracle Database 10g/11g Administration.
- Implementation, Maintenance of Oracle Apps 11i/R12, Oracle Database, RAC
- Configuration of Data Guard for Oracle Apps 11i/R12, DMZ configuration, Cloning, Apps System Administration, Patching, Performance Tuning, PCP.
- Upgrading Oracle Apps 11i instance from 11.5.7 to 11.5.10.2, 11.5.10.2 to R12.
- Converting Database Character Set to UTF8
- Upgrading Database from 8i/9i,10g to 10g/11g.
- Experienced in EBS 11i - Active Directory Integration (EBS 11i - 10g OID - AD) - SSO
- Backup & Recovery, RMAN
- Oracle 9i / 10g / 11g DBA activities on UNIX platforms.
- Oracle 11g/10g RAC 2/3/4/12 node administration.
- ASM and Raw Devices on Linux.
- OEM, Grid Control, AWR, dbverify, Data pump etc.
- Standby databases and Data Guard.
- RMAN and Backup/Restore operation.
- Cross platform database migration - XTTS
- Oracle Apps Patching, TNS connectivity, OCM management and troubleshooting.
- Shell and Perl Scripting.
- Cloning of Ebiz Environments
- Monitor and manage Dataguard, RAC, ASM, Production and Development databases and also monitor instances locks, long running queries, listener, free space, extents growth and space management etc.
- Troubleshoot database issues/error
- Installation, Configuration, patching, upgrades and Maintenance of Oracle Databases.
- RAC installation and configuration on both 10g and 11g environments.
- Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Streams, Golden Gate, Oracle Data pump.
-Automatic Workload Repository (AWR), Automatic Database Diagnostic Monitor (ADDM), Active Session History (ASH).
- Proficiency with Tuning - SGA, Monitoring and Detecting Locks.
- Experience in managing large Multi-terabyte Oracle databases.
- Database Design (Conceptual, Logical and Physical database design)
- Partitioning (Range, List, Hash, Interval Partitioning).
- Database Security
