Position title: System Engineer/Sales Engineer
Location: West coast





Position description:

In this role the qualified candidate will work directly with the company's customers, partners, and prospects, supporting sales efforts. We are seeking a proven pre-sales professional with excellent technical, communication and customer-facing skills. In this role you will work directly with an Account Executive to help drive revenue into new accounts and work with channel partners. The candidate will also work closely with other departments within the company. You will present company solutions and value proposition, lead product demonstrations and presentations, etc.



Required skills:

•Recent experience in a pre-sales/system engineering, customer facing role from a storage vendor company.
•Strong knowledge of cloud/virtualization and storage concepts

•Ability to work in a small company start-up environment
•Experience configuring, deploying, managing and supporting storage appliances
•Self-motivated with a strong customer focus
•Strong written and verbal communications skills
•Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
•Willingness to travel throughout the geographic territory
