Electric Cloud, the leader in DevOps automation, is looking for a talented User Experience (UX) Designer to lead the design effort for the next generation of its products. Reporting to the VP of Products, this person will work with internal teams and customers through the conceptualization and delivery of new products.
We are looking for someone who:

- is reliable, conscientious and picky about the details
To take on the following responsibilities:
- conduct user research that gives us insight into customer needs
- iteratively define visual requirements that address our customers goals including personas, scenarios, storyboards and task flows, information architecture, wireframe and user stories
- validate your ideas and designs through user and industry research as well as usability testing
- communicate designs along with rationale based on qualitative and quantitative data rather than personal opinion
- rapidly create several design approaches to a problem and consistently deliver brilliant design given deadlines
- work in an agile environment delivering work in iterations
- effectively communicate with developers to implement and realize the design vision
- develop, manage and refine design pattern libraries and interaction guidelines
Having the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years with a mix of interaction, visual design and HCI for software products
- agency experience is a plus
- BA/BFA/BS degree in HCI, Graphic Design or design-related field
- portfolio demonstrating breadth and creativity
- planning and holding usability tests, analyzing and reporting results and creating design recommendations
- working with agile development teams
- advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, Visio, Balsamiq, Axure or other design industry tools
- strong understanding of UI technologies such as HTML5, CSS3. Knowledge of JQuery and JavaScript is a plus
- start-up experience is a plus but not required
