Jamcracker's Service Delivery Network (JSDN) is a growing ecosystem that brings together On Demand providers and service providers. On Demand Providers include: ISVs, SaaS providers, Cloud services, IT Services providers and any company that has services delivered via the internet. The JSDN greatly extends market reach and quickly increases revenues for On Demand providers through a global marketplace from which Service Providers and other service-delivery channels can rapidly source, bundle, re-brand and deliver On Demand services to businesses, consumers, and downstream channel partners.

Position Description:
The Vice President, Product Management will have responsibilities in managing the product management team in India, in business planning and support, product design and specifications as well as working with customers and engineering and other internal team members to drive product development. The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering and or product management for an enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) company and can work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include:
• The VP, Product Management reports to the CEO, and is responsible for the overall product direction of the Jamcracker JSDN platform
• Drive strategy and execution for all aspects of the JSDN platform.
• Research, identify and summarize enterprise cloud consumption and delivery requirements that are pertinent to JSDN.
• Identify offer vs. market requirement feature gaps with our products and provide voice-of-the-customer inputs and prioritization to our development roadmap for addressing feature gaps.
• Develop product roadmap and requirements that flow from an understanding of user needs, competitive landscape, market research, and creative thinking.
• Work closely with customers, prospects, sales, engineering and core product team to gather and validate product requirements and drive product design.
• Drive delivery of new product features through close collaboration with engineering & manage feature development lifecycle.
• Present JSDN cloud services solution to prospects, customers and partners. Provide content and write relevant sections for RFP/RFI responses.
• Requires tight feedback loop with sales to understand customer/prospect objections relative to JSDN functionality and positioning, and collaboration to fine-tune positioning and offers to help shorten sales cycles.
• Track competitive landscape for JSDN cloud services.
• Provide input to business development roadmap in identifying complementary 3rd party solutions who Jamcracker may partner with to extend the JSDN cloud services ecosystem.
Qualifications:
• Product management experience with data center infrastructure software and services, from an enterprise and/or hosted services provider perspective (both preferred).
• Experience with SaaS, IaaS, cloud computing and/or virtualization solutions.
• Domain expertise and insight on how services are delivered and managed within an enterprise, whether from an internal or external data center, and able to understand and relate life-cycle packaging requirements from an enterprise IT perspective.
• Excellent communications skills, with an ability to communicate complex ideas in an effective manner, and to tailor positioning messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
• BS/BA degree
• 10+ years experience in Product Management roles of increasing responsibility
• Experience at a Cloud/SaaS company preferred
• Innovate thinker who will bring new ideas and forward-thinking product vision to the company
• Hands-on manager who wants to roll up his/her sleeves and tirelessly focus on both the big picture as well as the details and nuances of product design and customer experience.
• Positive, optimistic attitude, high degree of intrinsic motivation and ability to operate with high energy and flexibility.
• Entrepreneurial spirit a must
• Exceptional presentation, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to grasp complexity coupled with a passion to simplify.
• Experience working with customers and prospects in a product, consulting or professional services capacity a plus.
