Position Title: Network Implementation Engineer 4
Location: Lewisville, TX
Duration: 6+ Months
Start: ASAP
Interview: Phone to Onsite
Max Pay Rate: DOE

Position Summary:
1. Provide network implementation build-outs of all data network infrastructure including WAN, LAN, Wireless in remote client locations across North America.
2. Coordinate and execute implementation of network systems hardware and software, from standard design templates.
3. Coordinate business unit requirements gathering discussions to obtain design specifications to meet the stated objectives.
4. Work in conjunction with Project Management teams, Network Design and Support teams to provide turn-key networking solutions.
5. Provides third-level troubleshooting and problem resolution on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement Cisco routing switching infrastructure.
2. Coordinate business unit requirements gathering for design and implement specifications.
3. Design, build and implement networks to achieve high availability requirements.
4. Collect and analyze data about the performance and capacity of the network and its components, and make recommendations to management.
5. Create and maintain project and site documentation.
6. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education/Training – College degree preferable

Certifications required – CCNA

Business Experience: 5+ years experience implementing medium to large size, multi-site network. Demonstrate ability to design and implement complex Cisco data networks. Experience in the use of network management tools, to detect and resolve network issues.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills required 5+ years in the following areas:
Knowledge of, and experience in designing, building and operating networks, with experience in the following technologies:
EIGRP and BGP. Ethernet switched LAN and 80.11 WLAN, SNMP, Spanning tree, CDP, and VTP.
T1, PRI, DS3 and fractional services, along with Frame relay, ATM, IPSec VPN and MPLS services.
QOS, MGCP and H323.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, very reliable, hardworking and able to work independently.

Candidate must be able to work occasional weekends and on after-hours projects.

Working Conditions:
Environment (Office, warehouse, etc.) – Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Physical Requirements (Lifting, standing, etc.) – Some physical effort required.

Some overtime required that will include nights and weekends

Travel 50 - 60% - travel required with overnight travel to domestic remote locations.
