We are looking for you to join a team developing mobile applications.

You will be working with the latest mobile devices and teams world wide to provide world-class applications, interacting with exceptionally talented people, and lots of opportunity to gain more responsibility. We ship quite a few products so your work will be seen (hopefully used) by your peers.

This position is part of a four person mobile engineering team at Rovi, focused on iOS, Android, and other mobile devices. You will interface with UI design teams, product management, PC development teams, web development teams, and QA teams during this and other projects. The team works using agile development.

You will work with the team to assign yourself and others tasks, meet each day for a 15 minute SCRUM, and help architect the future of the product with a vision that should extend years while tempered by the immediate needs. Everyone is on equal footing in this team â€" and working towards the same goal â€" a shipping product.

What you need for this position:

4+ years work experience with C++ and Objective C
Intimate familiarity with all aspects of Mac OS and the Apple ecosystem
iOS application development experience (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad)
Proficiency with XCode
Solid understanding of Cocoa and UIKit frameworks
Knowledge of standard development processes (source code control, peer code reviews, unit testing, estimations)
Bonus Points:

An innate ability to create unique solutions to problems
Solid understanding of Cocoa and UIKit frameworks
Familiarity with Core Data, OpenGL, and networking
