What you'll be doing …
As our Sr. Web Applications Developer, you will be responsible for the development and support of critical business systems applications. This role requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and you will need a thorough understanding of application development methodology. Tableau leverages multiple enterprise class solutions and is building out a team to leverage these tools as it continues rapid global growth. Some of the things you'll be doing include …
 Design, develop, implement and support online customer and partner portal solutions while helping to expand our global footprint through the internalization of our systems.
 Team with Sales, Marketing and Customer Support to develop solutions that will strengthen the distribution and support of Tableau Software products and services.
 Clearly communicate project status to key stakeholders throughout the entire development process.
Who you are …
 Experienced. You have 5+ years experience building web-based and/or business systems applications, with a solid understanding of HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, and programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP.
 Savvy. You thoroughly understand REST and SOAP web-based services, WSDL interpretation, generation, and consumption.
 Problem Solver. You have strong analytical and problem solving skills – and you're not afraid to use them!
 Nimble. You have strong organizational skills, enjoy working with different areas of the organization, and are able to learn on the fly.
 A True Team Player. Collaboration leads to great results. You want to work with others who will make you a better employee, and vice versa!
 Educated. BSCS or equivalent work experience.
