Senior Software Engineer, Search/Recommendation Systems

You're an experienced software engineer with proven experience testing working with high-volume, SaaS environments. You're ambitious, focused and now you're looking to make an immediate and lasting impact on your next career project. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can lead development of our next generation search and recommendation systems.
Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will help design and develop search capability, recommendation services, and infrastructure components for our critical SaaS platform. You will work with a team of smart, like-minded engineers and collaborate closely with our product team in a tight-knit, fast-paced startup environment.
Your Qualifications:
6+ years of experience working on robust, scalable software.
Experience with SaaS, web services and APIs.
Experience working on search technology using SOLR/Lucene.
Experience building Recommendation Engines using Machine Learning a strong plus.
Strong development experience in Java/C++/LAMP.
Strong knowledge of OO concepts and CS fundamentals.
Experience working in a fast-paced agile development process.
Experience working on social systems a plus.
A positive "can-do" attitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; MS or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
