Position: TECHNO FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT - Hyperion HFM & FDM (Financial Data Quality Management) experience
Pay Rate: DOE
Duration: 4-6 months
Location: San Francisco, CA
Start date: ASAP
Role & Responsibilities:
The purpose of this position is to be responsible for managing the business implementation of new systems, serving as the business sign-off for technical solutions and overseeing all end-user support for Hyperion HFM and FDM globally.
• Establish processes for the management of product requirements throughout their implementation and lifecycle
• Establish processes for managing the release of new functionality to the business users
• Provide expertise in technologies, methodologies and tools
• Coordinate the user support team
• Oversee all user support activities and processes
• Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs
• Formulate systems requirements to parallel overall business strategies
• Ensure users are trained and support user issue resolution
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor´s degree (8+ years of combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree)
• Minimum 5 years of experience with business systems, project planning, and project implementation
Additional Qualifications:
• Master´s degree preferred
• Retail and/or wholesale experience preferred
• Serve as solution delivery expert for the design and implementation of Hyperion HFM solutions
• Demonstrate accountability for operational excellence of Hyperion Application(s), with duties including application strategy and management, operations/production support, project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution and closure for all project work related to the application
• Manage budgets and contracts associated with the application
• Manage activities of application support team resources to support and deliver solutions relating to the Application
• Lead/Guide the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, implementation and maintenance of small to medium IT solutions
• Support, advise, assist, guide and resolve problems for client leaders and users
• Work as a business partner with client leaders and users to evaluate / improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions
• Initiate direct communication with specific customers, clients, suppliers and systems personnel
• Act as a change agent for business and IT solutions
• Stay current with enabling technologies and work as a partner to promote their use
• Coordinate outsourced supplier efforts as required
• Lead in the evaluation/implementation of third party software solutions
