Position: Network Engineer/Network Infrastructure Specialist - CCNA certified
Location: Westlake, TX
Pay Rate: DOE
Duration: 3+ months
Start Date: ASAP
Interview Process: Phone screen followed by an In-person interview

Job Description & Responsibilities:
• Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands.
• Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs.
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades.
• Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems.
• Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schematics.
• Develop and implement solutions for network problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Determine user requirements and design specifications for computer networks.
Skills and Competencies:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one´s time.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data storage.
• Basic knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software.
• Bachelor degree in computer science or a related field required.
• 4 plus years of experience required.
Network Support functions:
• Ability to contact carriers and diagnose networking issues.
• Familiar with BGP WAN routing and LAN.
• Familiar with load balancer and Cisco WAAS accelerators.
• MUST HAVE : CCNA certification
