We are looking for a Storage management software product marketing manager for a full time employee role at a leading global Storage Solutions company. The Product Marketing manager will own Go-To-Market strategies for a subset of products in the client´s Storage Management Software portfolio. Job location is either Santa Clara, CA or Waltham, MA.
The ideal candidate will have strong Storage or Systems Management Product Marketing expertise and be an outstanding team player with proven ability to thrive in cross functional team environments. Requires a talented and flexible individual with strong presentation skills, adept business knowledge, and strong aptitude for translating technical feature sets into compelling marketing messages and materials.
Responsibilities:
•Develop messaging and compelling value propositions for designated products
•Develop GTM plans and ensure effective execution through end-to-end alignment across various Marketing, Product Management, Business Development and Sales organizations.
•Produce and deliver customer facing content and sales tools to help achieve growth and revenue targets e.g. Web copy, collateral, sales kits and demos
•Lead product launches and help produce supporting materials
•Brief Industry Analysts, press and customers on designated products as appropriate
•Provide business reports and metrics to measure market performance of designated products
•5 to 10% travel
Requirements:
•7+ years of storage or systems management product marketing experience or related discipline in the same field
•Extensive technical background in computer industry
•Hands-on relevant product experience highly desirable
•Bachelor´s degree in related field
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
•Proven ability to thrive in cross functional team environments
•Strong project management and personal organization skills
•Proven creativity and experience exploiting modern marketing channels e.g. social media
•Bachelors, MBA preferred
