Pre/Post Sales Solutions Architect (job #TPA01)

This position requires a person with a strong technical and customer interaction skills. You will be involved in architectural consulting and pre-sales roles for specific customer engagements. Your responsibilities will be that of a senior solutions engineer or architect, who can work with customers either pre- or post-sales to gather and understand requirements, work with the solutions developers to define and create innovative API management solutions using the Apigee products, and explain Apigee solutions to customers or prospective customers.

Requirements:

• Technical pre-sales/product management and/or professional services experience highly desirable

• Career rooted in the foundation of middleware and enterprise integration

• Previous hands-on experience with the following:

 server-side Java coding and Eclipse
 Linux command line
 XML including schemas and XSLT, web services including SOAP and WSDL
 REST including best practices in its design with XML and JSON
 security standards such as SSL, awareness of OAuth
 supplemental web technologies such as Ruby on Rails, PHP, HTML, and JavaScript is desirable

• Telco enterprise experience is a plus
