[KITlist-Tech] Program/Project Manager (San Jose, CA)

• Responsible for managing Experis regional relationships with delivery clients as well as clients in the sales process

• Represent and communicate IDS expertise across all IDS certified service lines

• Report to and work with IDS Product Director and provide delivery support and feedback to IDS Delivery Director

• Act as Experis branch and regional liaison

• In the future support Strategic Account activities in respective region

• Represent practice in preliminary sales meeting, support local proposal development and work with Product Director to engage appropriate STM as needed in activities

• Provide practice with regional intelligence and develop penetration plan to grow IDS revenue in assigned region through increased wins, greater sales support and regional focus

• Provide support to recruiting both in evaluating candidates, developing job descriptions and supporting candidates on site

• Responsible for participating in sales engagement processes to provide technical credibility for project opportunities.

• Responsible for reviewing materials, including methodology development, required to establish technical credibility of core competencies.

• Position requires excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to deal effectively with employees and customers, and cultivate positive relationships at the project engagement level; proven ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Project) and strong analytical skills, as well as organizational and follow-up skills are required.

• Significant regional travel a possibility (60% Plus)

• Position will represent practice technical capabilities and delivery experience, thus all Solution Architects must have a technical hands-on background in infrastructure arena, preferably with depth in one or more of the following technologies:

o Microsoft Server (Exchange, Active Directory, etc…)
o Storage Technology (EMC, HP)
o Cisco Network
o Data Center Management and Migration
o VMware Virtualization
o Project Management on Infrastructure Efforts

Experience Required

• 2+ years demonstrated experience creating/responding to: RFI's, RFP's, and SOW's

• 4+ years experience working in or managing infrastructure projects; including net new implementations, data migrations, disaster recovery, and daily operations

• 5+ years' experience in one above technology area

o Microsoft Server (Exchange, Active Directory, etc…)
o Storage Technology (EMC, HP)
o Cisco Network
o Data Center Management and Migration
o VMware Virtualization
o Project Management on Infrastructure Efforts

• Demonstrates technical expertise in a variety of areas, networking, Operating Systems ( At least two of the following: Windows, Linux, AIX, HP UX, Solaris) fiber channel switching, network operating systems, consolidation/virtualization, operations

• Ability to grasp new technology concepts quickly and assist others in understanding them as well and a commitment to continued knowledge growth and expansion

• Demonstrated ability to assemble technical teams to meet project requirements and customer demands

• 3+ years' experience acting as a consultant (not a contractor) for clients, advising on technical solutions and participating in pre-sales and solution development.

 
Education or Certifications Preferred


• Mandatory Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field.

• PMP

• CCNA or higher

• ITIL

• Six Sigma
