What you'll be doing…

You will design, develop and execute test software for a next-generation Visual Analytics and Collaboration suite. You'll be focused on testing complex and innovative technology that is the presentation layer of products that give the user the ability to see, understand and interact with their data in real time. You'll be challenged to leverage your creativity and experience to build quality into the products based on a solid understanding of the source code. The position will provide interesting hard-core technical challenges and responsibility. Some of the things you'll be doing include …

• Perform white-box component testing with a focus on server UI and browsers.
• Analyze, categorize and assess scope of current white-box tests and identify areas of redundant or critically missing test coverage.
• Create, improve, and maintain new and existing test frameworks as appropriate.
• Analyze source code and implement new automated tests as appropriate.
• Integrate code coverage, static analysis and other tools.

Who you are…

• Testing Guru. As an experienced white-box tester, you've tested highly scalable server systems that back dynamic, highly interactive Web experiences. You can read and readily understand source code written by others, and analyze product log files, crash dumps, network traces, etc.
• Investigator. You love to get to the root of the problem! Debugging and uncovering problems in complex software systems comes second nature to you.
• A True Team Player. Collaboration leads to great results. You want to work with others who will make you a better Developer, and vice versa!
• Experienced. You have excellent understanding of C++, Java, Ruby, Phtyon and / or Perl and Javascript and css / html. You've tested on Windows platforms, have a strong knowledge of development and testing tools (Selenium, rcov, java tools).SQL-92, SQL-99, plus knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing.
• Educated. BSCS or equivalent work experience
