Job Description:
The Director of Information Services is a key role within DMB Pacific Ventures LLC (the "Company") responsible for the overall coordination and support of all Information Services infrastructure resources. The individual in this role will be responsible for building an external team of technical specialists that are responsible for providing technical support to the Company. In addition this individual will also be responsible for oversight of the architecture of the Company's I.S. infrastructure ensuring that it meets the objectives of the Company in terms of quality, integration, security and overall philosophies adopted.

DMB Pacific Ventures LLC is a privately held real estate development and management company located in the financial district in San Francisco.

Education: Graduate from an accredited college or university. Degreed in Business Administration, Computer Information Science/Engineering, or Business Functional Area. Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree.
Experience: Minimum ten years experience in Computer Information Systems or within associated Business Functional area. Five of these years need to include direct leadership of an Information Services department with a track record of using technology and services to improve overall business performance.
Skills: Must have a proven ability to take on challenging assignments, quickly gain knowledge and credibility with customers and team members. Ability to be a strong, contributing team member is essential. Must be able to manage a heavy workload in a complex, demanding and rapidly changing environment. Excellent verbal and written communications skills should be complemented with a solid business and technical background, and a keen interest in business operations and change impact.

• Responsible for building a strong technical team consisting of contractors and outsource agencies that are responsible for managing and providing technical expertise of core technology processes/functions.
• Will develop strong relationships with external providers to source non-core department processes/functions.
• Monitors and reports to Senior Management the overall performance and metrics of outsourced technology and functions.
• Responsible for working with Mobile Phone Carriers to ensure that the Company is receiving the best pricing and services for mobile phones and wireless cards.
• Responsible for working with hardware/software vendors to ensure that the Company is receiving the best pricing and services for hardware and software related services.
• Responsible for working with Voice and Data carriers ensuring that the Data and Voice connectivity needs are met with the most cost effective solutions.

• Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
• Gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services.
• Acts with customers in mind.
• Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.
• Responsible for partnering with Senior Management to establish IS budget, including remote site infrastructure budgets.
• Monitors budget to actual for monthly budget reporting to Senior Management.

• Responsible for creating, documenting and applying the standards to all IS infrastructure, applications and development efforts.
• Responsible for developing and following the IS roadmap for IS Infrastructure and applications.

• Responsible for the management of the Company's data center and related IS infrastructure.
• Provides support to the Company's office voice infrastructure.
• Manages and monitors the corporate data network, server infrastructure, and business applications ensuring that it meets current and future needs. This will be accomplished through building strong partnerships with solution providers of data services to outsource non-core functions such as data network monitoring.
• Responsible for overall technology and business application architecture and related standards.
