As a member of Molecular Separations Laboratory, you will join a multidisciplinary team developing state-of-the-art analytical technologies for complex biological samples. The position will be part of the team which developed the world's first commercial HPLC-Chip and the world first commercial micro fluidic device with on-chip biological functions. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with HPLC experiences to expand our research capacity.

Job Qualifications:

BS (or equivalent education) in chemistry, chemical engineering or related fields.
- Working knowledge of HPLC separation methods and familiarity with basic principles of HPLC analysis, equipment and software packages.
- 2+ years of hands-on HPLC experiences
- Basic knowledge of silane and polymer chemistry and methods used for surface fictionalization of silica and polymeric micro particles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.


The following additional skills/experiences are highly desired:
- Ability to operate, maintain and troubleshoot HPLC systems.
- Experience in chemical synthesis
- Experiences in working with pressurized fluidic systems
- Experiences in HPLC method development and optimization
- Hands on experience with HPLC/MS and systems.

- General experience in analytical separation techniques such as size exclusion chromatography, ion exchange chromatography and affinity chromatography.
