[KITlist-Tech] Technical Trainer (Sunnyvale, CA)

Meru Networks is seeking an experienced Technical Training Instructor. This position will help drive product adoption through effective education initiatives by providing excellent partner and customer communication and training skills. The ideal candidate will apply problem analysis skills to technical and training situations as well as manage partner/customer logistical challenges.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Teach and maintain all assigned courses in the Meru Networks training curriculum.
Deliver technical presentations to customers, channel partners and internal Meru Networks staff.
Analyze customer technical training needs and present plans to address issues.
Maintain the project tracking process and report on training metrics.
Provide consultation and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to customers and channel partners related products and applications.
Set up, configure, and support the training labs and/or IP network

Desired Skills & Experience

3-5 years providing training in the networking field. Wireless training experience strongly preferred.
Bachelors Degree in electronics, technical school or equivalent experience
Refined technical writing skills
High level of refined presentation skills
Excellent communication, both verbally and written
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and graphics creation programs such as Visio Technical
Networking knowledge
Willingness to explore use of alternative delivery methods (i.e., other than classroom delivery) where applicable and effective
Willingness to provide training on locations on other continents
