About the Job:
Write code. Elegant, maintainable, reusable, scalable code with excellent test coverage.
Use our tools: HTML, CSS, jQuery, CSS, Groovy and Grails.
Take personal responsibility for the quality of your work, tirelessly squashing bugs before customers see them.
Build new features, maintain existing ones, and support / extend our UI and Widgets.
Deploy software, sacrificing technical elegance at the altar of customer success as necessary.
Work in a small team agile development process, regularly shipping and iterating code.
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience building high-volume, easy to use software products and interfaces.
Deep understanding of cross-browser compatibility, MVC, UI design and skills in designing and implementing UI on a web stack.
You are always looking for new and better ways to do things, and love automation: continuous integration, automated testing & deployment and TDD are all old hat to you.
You prefer action to talk. You are a doer not a pontificator. You love building stuff and it shows.
Nice to Have:
Experience building software that's successfully deployed within the constraints of enterprise customers.
Basic SQL writing skills.
