We are currently a 15 person ruby development team (within a small-medium size tech shop) that is working on a single codebase for a large enterprise (but not enterprisey) application. We are looking for experienced Ruby on Rails Developers to join our team. You need to be a passionate Ruby Developer who has experience using Ruby on Rails in a professional environment.
We supply our developers with the latest Macs, and use modern dev tools: Git, Github, Pivotal Tracker, Rspec, Rails 3, Engineyard. All developers are encouraged to champion improvements to the way we do things and we sincerely value our sane (or as close as we can reasonably achieve) company culture.
Must Haves
• 5+ years web application development experience
• Experience coding in Ruby on Rails in a professional environment
• Fundamental understanding of Git
• Experience with unit tests and TDD
• Expert level knowledge of JQuery/MySQL
• Experience with agile development methodologies in a team environment
• Desire to have fun, and work in a close-knit team environment
• Self-starter; eager to learn new technologies and bring fresh ideas to the table
• Ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines
• Commitment to working onsite with the rest of the team in Vancouver
• Passion for development

Nice To Haves
• Excellent usability and UI design skills
• Knowledge of XHTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Knowledge of rspec/BDD/cucumber
• Deployment and system administration experience with Rails or stacks with similar components (e.g. Lighttpd, Apache, Nginx, Litespeed, Mongrel, Rack, Linux)
• Salesforce development
• Experience with Behavior- Driven Testing
