Job Description
This Technical Consulting role is primarily focused around Zenprise Mobility management products. This position will provide technical/post sales support throughout the post-sales cycle for various customers. The Professional Services Consultant will provide training and consulting services. The following is a list of specific domain knowledge and expertise that is required at an advanced or higher proficiency level.
Consulting Skills
• Significant experience working with enterprise mobile management groups
• Current or previous experience as an IT Mobility practitioner within a medium to large sized organization
• Experience working on medium to large sized Mobile solutions
• Experience facilitating requirements and solution planning workshops
• Experience providing training/knowledge transfer to IT
• Must be able and willing to travel
Technical Skills and Education
• 4 year college degree
• Experience with at least one major Mobile or Mobile Management Solution.
• 2+ years experience in a consultant role deploying and training IT products to mid and large corporate customers.
• Strong understanding of mobility solutions based on Blackberry Enterprise servers and ActiveSync.
• Must have a good understanding of deploying IT based messaging solutions based on Microsoft Exchange.
• Understanding of the technical components of an enterprise IT infrastructure including Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPNs, Virtualization.
• Understanding of the networking and support challenges of wireless applications
• Enterprise management tool experience: Microsoft System Center, HP OpenView and BMC Patrol/Remedy are a plus
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008.
• Knowledge of Web based technologies such as Web Services and .Net.
• Knowledge/awareness of IT security standards such as FIPS, SOX and PCI
• Must be able to present complex solutions to varying levels within an organization, both business and technical
Training Program Management:
• Work collectively with sales and management to develop and implement customer driven offerings
• Coordinate partner training
• Set up classrooms, locally and virtually
• Coordinate training environment updates
• Coordinate and assist with training material updates
Personal Requirements
• Hands on, can do approach
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Take ownership of tasks and assignments
• Exemplary presentation skills, written and oral
• Proven team player
