Project Need and Scope
We are looking for a dynamic contributor to Proximic's core development team, who enjoys building innovative technology that will contribute to our game-changing products for the advertising data space, which have immediate market impact with large well known customers. This position is a contract position and based in our main office in downtown Palo Alto, CA.
• Develop extensible, scalable, reliable Javascript which is robust across multiple browsers (eg., IE, Mozilla, Chrome)
• Construct a wrapper which will contain appropriate code to pick up and handle encrypted tokens and carry forward across multiple iframes
• Demonstrate verifiable successful implementation that is documented and transitioned to on-site staff
Requirements
• B.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred - M.S. or Ph.D. a plus
• 5+ years experience of in robust client-side development within complex, scalable systems
• 5+ years of Java experience building and debugging cross-browser issues toward successful deployment in a product-centered environment
• Proven track record of excellent coding skills to write reliable / clean and maintainable software
• Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization techniques, and object-oriented programming, especially in Java
• Experience in online advertising systems (display or SEM), computer linguistics, applied statistics and/or machine learning a plus
• Structured thinker, effective communicator, excellent programming and analytic skills
• Highly self motivated, proactive, hardworking innovator with a "team-first" attitude (must check ego at the door)
