Senior Product Manager of NIC Integration
Job Description
Infoblox is focused on providing a range of industry-leading solutions to address the challenges presented by the evolving market for dynamic Network Infrastructure Control. Infoblox´s Network Infrastructure Control architecture will integrate traditional DNS, DHCP and IPAM systems with Network Configuration and Change Management technology to automatically discover and document network infrastructure and automatically respond to changes within that infrastructure. As part of this effort we are looking for a Product Manager/Senior Product Manager with responsibility for Network Infrastructure Control Integration.
The role will have responsibility for the successful integration of a range of current (and future) solutions built on Infoblox´s real-time control platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering market analysis, customer requirements, competitive information, market opportunities, building an understanding of the management issues in both physical and virtualization management environments and translating them into product requirements. This will require working closely with the current product management team as well as other parts of the Infoblox organization including business development, engineering, finance, IT and sales.
Key Responsibilities
• Capture and articulate customer and industry problems and translate them into product requirements specific to the integration of our DDI and NCCM solutions
• Define an integration strategy and roadmap that properly balances the needs of engineering, sales, marketing and support
• Meet directly with customers and serve as interface between Sales and Engineering
• Ensure Integration roadmap supports company's overall strategy and goals
• Personally deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized requirements and corresponding justification
• Interface regularly with the sales team and ensure proper knowledge transfer to sales reps and SEs
Skills & Experience
• Successful experience in a systems and solutions based networking market
• Clear technical knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM and NCCM solutions is required
• Experience with database-oriented applications a plus
• Driven, results oriented individual, focused on execution in a team oriented environment
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Excellent communications capability for written, verbal, and presentation/collateral mediums
• Ability and desire to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced, fast growth environment and handle multiple projects and tasks daily
• Typically requires BSEE/CS, Marketing and 5+ years related experience in virtualization product management and networking software, MBA is desirable
