eTrigue based in San Jose, Ca is a private firm which offers the eTrigue Professional solution which has been such a success that demand soon outgrew the high-tech agency which is our parent. We are seeking a UI leader that lives HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to help drive the next generation of our product. Define the architecture of how the UI is constructed and extended. Design and implement highly efficient, light weight and re-usable UI components using object-oriented JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, HTML, and PHP. Your role will be to define and lead the building of the UI architecture for this interface and its supporting screens targeted at a multi-tenant offering. The qualified candidate will have demonstrated building intuitive web centric user interfaces for complex products. They will understand cross browser compatibility and quickly grasp the company vision to translate that into an actionable plan that exceeds customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
Work with senior management to develop rapid prototypes and mock up UI components either as proof of concept or to assist in requirements definition.
Hands on leadership and implementation of new UI elements.
Select and leverage 3rd party JavaScript/AJAX library.
Work with engineers to define, maintain, implement, and enforce UI style guides, standards, and best practices.
Monitor evolving UI trends and technologies and evaluate for possible adoption.
Optimize client-side code taking into account issues of page weight, complexity, network, user perception, and other effects.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of recent production quality experience.
Thorough knowledge and experience with cross-browser compatibility issues.
Nice to have a working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience maintaining and designing complex web architectures leveraging object oriented javascript.
An eye for good design, and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple projects at once, managing time efficiently to meet or exceed deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent spoken and written English.
Experience implementing for multiple languages a plus
