Senior Information Technology Project Manager needed for long term project at our Client Company. (stable, public, growing)
Manage the development and implementation process of projects involving departmental, vendor relationships, and/or cross-functional teams. Work with internal/external clients to gather business requirements and coordinate project plans. Drive multiple projects from initiation through delivery ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints. Develop, forecast, and manage overall project budget. Ensure that goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. Monitors project activities ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of the information, and providing consistency in content and ´look and feel´ across the enterprise. Identifies new methods and procedures for coordinating the activities of employees on a cross-functional project team, and reviews recommendations for feasibility. Select and form the project team. Plan, design, develop, and implement enhancements to project management processes to improve efficiency and quality of output. Coordinates multiple projects that may span across various departments. Establishes plans and schedules for entire projects, and keeps management informed of deviations from plans and schedules. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to find the best solutions, assess impact of decisions on each of the functional areas and propose resolutions. Ensures adherence to SDLC processes, demonstrates high level understanding of Company´s business processes. Manages project budgets/resources.
*Have the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. *Be a self starter who requires little supervison. *Feel comforatble communicating to all levels of personnel from project team members to Senior IT Executives.

* Specific knowledge - industry and/or technical knowledge: 4+ years of project management experience; good understanding of IT development and operations. Knowledge of one or more business processes.
* Education and years of experience: Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience. At this level, post-graduate coursework may be desirable.
* Training: PMP certification a plus. Training in IT applications, development methodologies, technologies, process engineering a plus.
* Course work: Introduction to Project Management
* Course work: Risk Management for Projects
* Certification: PMP, CAPM, PgMP
* Supervision: Determines methods and procedures on new assignments
