Network Engineer
5+ years professional experience with Juniper network infrastructure: multi-geography
is a plus.
5+ years Linux systems administration experience (RHEL, Centos) including strong
scripting experience with bash, python, perl, ruby, etc.
Operational experience with large Ruby/Rails web applications
Expert in core routers and switches, routing protocols, load balancers, caching systems, etc.
Knowledge of fault-tolerant production network design, redundancy, and identifying and
eliminating single points of failure
Demonstrated ability to architect maintainable and scalable network environments
Evaluate and implement network security procedures and best practices
Experience in BGP and VRRP as well as IP, HTTP, Ethernet, etc.
Knowledge of public clouds infrastructure (EC-2, App Engine)
Strong documentation skills including procedures and network maps
Must have extensive with co-located facilities including all aspects of redundant power,
cooling, physical security, and 3rd party service companies
On-Call duty and response to emergency situations, 1 week rotations.
