We are looking for an exceptional software engineer to develop state-of-the-art, scalable, ad serving technologies for the new world of local/social/mobile promotions. As part of this team, you will be creating a global-scale, multi-channel ad serving and targeting architecture that integrates with contemporary ad and content platforms.
Qualifications
* Exceptional software designer & developer.
* Familiar with internet advertising technologies.
* Strong at dynamic language programming (Python, Ruby, Javascript).
* Expert understanding of web architectures and RESTful APIs.
* Strong UNIX networking and I/O skills.
* Strong C and C++ programming skills.
* Experience with SQL database & transaction programming.
* Have built web applications with user-facing HTML UIs.
* Experience developing interesting web projects.
* Fun personality, loves startup energy.
* Must have work visa, and be able to work on-site in San Mateo.
Bonus Skills
* Bonus points for real-world experience with ad server products.
* Bonus points for ad targeting algorithm experience.
* Bonus points for extensive experience with performance optimization.
* Bonus points for experience developing Python apps in the Django environment.
