Tech Pub Specialist / Technical Writer
Temp to Perm

TO BEGIN IMMEDIATELY!

Our semiconductor client has an immediate need for a Tech Pub Specialist/Technical Writer. This position will coordinate and produce the technical documents for this Silicon Valley semiconductor company.

The position is temp-to-permanent and paying $25 - $32.50 per hour on a W2. This is a replacement position, so there definitely is head-count.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and produce Product Datasheets, Evaluation Board Documentation, Application Notes, Package Information Sheets, manuals and other technical documents in Adobe InDesign

Edit incoming information for clarity, grammar, spelling and formatting, verify information sources

Proof outgoing documents for completion of edits and formatting

Maintain production and document control database

Drive approval process and disposition of finished documents

Requires:

BS/BA in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of technical writing and technical publications management experience.

Electrical Engineering or semiconductor background a plus

Important Skills:

- Proficient in inDesign, Illustrator, MS Office, some Visio

- Strong attention to detail, adherence to process

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
