We have several immediate openings for Software Quality Assurance with black box, mobile and JavaScript coding experience. Looking for someone who loves to break code and work closely with engineering to make sure it gets fixed and released as a first-class product. You'll have a chance to use one of the hottest mobile operating systems on the market, Titanium, which enables hundreds of developers to develop hundreds-of-thousands of Mobile Applications that are used by millions of users globally!!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute manual test across iOS and Android devices with daily builds.
Ability to clearly communicate expected behavior and steps to reproduce defects, including screenshots and supporting evidence.
Work with software development team to help them identify source of and correct bugs and defects.
Participate in bug scrubs. Report and follow up on all defects found. Track and verify their resolution.
Posses a willingness to learn new technologies, applications and techniques.
REQUIREMENTS:
1-3 years of experience in QA with a focus on mobile
Programming experience in scripting or programming languages, and JavaScript is a BIG plus!
Open source development experience is a BIG plus!
Familiarity with emulators and simulators a BIG plus!
Ability to distill the minimum test case from defect reports or code examples.
Passionate about great mobile applications on the most cutting edge mobile operating systems.
Ability to work with tough deadlines and challenging problems.
Fast learner, interested in learning and exploring new ideas.
Ability to work with a close-knit team.
Self-directed and motivated.
