We have an immediate opening for a Mobile Application Architect. As an application architect, you´ll use your excellent eye for design to help our customers develop world-class mobile apps on our platform. Additionally, you will move those dreams into reality by providing expert guidance and direction during the implementation of the app. This means you´ll need solid programming chops, preferably with javascript.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Using the Titanium platform, rapidly develop designs and functional prototypes.
Be the go-to expert for architecting mobile applications on the Titanium platform.
Create the UI/UX for customers´ mobile applications by developing interactive prototypes, wireframes & visual comps.
Critique other creative work, offering direction for improving quality, consistency or strategy.
Working with (and occasionally leading) cross-functional teams to manage and deliver mobile applications on time
Work in partnership with mobile team, product management, and market to ship exemplary products. On time.
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of application design/architecture
In-depth knowledge of design patterns and system design best practices
Awesome UI design/interaction instincts
Solid understanding of the Web technology stack (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, TCP/IP, HTTP).
Coding background, with experience with (at least one) Python, C/C++, Ruby, C# or Javascript.
Experience with relevant design tools (Photoshop, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple projects and work streams in a very fast-paced environment.
Self-starter who can find motivation anytime, anywhere
Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
BA/BS in Computer Science or Design/Art preferred, but not required.
