We're looking for a strong Titanium Developer for our Technical Trainer role to excite, educate, and inspire future app developers. At 130,000 developers and counting, our trainer will present instructor-led and web-live certification training and modeling outstanding delivery for a network of trainers that may or may not work directly for Appcelerator. You will be measured on how productive and successful developers become with Titanium.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Train customers, partners, and other trainers certifying them to the high standards as required.
Update large, high-quality Titanium training content library for Appcelerator's training program. (Appcelerator University)
Contribute to building innovative training delivery curriculums that scale. Web, live, customer training all need to be delivered from content that can be consistently delivered through any means necessary to get developers successful on Titanium.
Develop effective hands-on lab exercises for classes, which can be leveraged as self-paced instruction for the larger community.
Write and validate certification exams, which accurately reflect both content covered in our certification curriculum as well as expected skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
Outstanding technical presentation skills, which garner respect from developers and other trainers.
3-5 years delivering technical developer curriculums in a variety of delivery formats.
JavaScript programming experience is required demonstrated by building Titanium mobile apps for iOS and Android SDKs.
Demonstrated understanding on how developers think.
Technical savvy to gain a deep understanding of our product.
Flexibility to adjust training delivery for maximum customer satisfaction.
Ability to work with tough deadlines and challenging problems with a close-knit team.
Prior startup and open-source experience is a highly preferred.
Approximately 50%-75% travel.
