The Sr Java/J2EE Software engineer/Architect will be responsible for development and maintenance of modules for our clients web based Enterprise product olutions. The candidate must have hands on experience programming in Java/J2EE technologies.Knowledge of Database technologies like Oracle RDBMS and MySQLis a plus.
Responsibilities
• Work primarily on server side technologies for a new web application
• Translate product requirements and mockups into functional web services.
• Be hands on for development and maintenance of Java/J2EE code and related code
• Lead a team of 3 – 4 junior Java Engineers through design , development and problem trouble shooting.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation
Skills Requirements
• At least 5+ years of development experience with a standards-based Java web application based on an MVC framework (Struts, Spring, etc).
• Solid understanding of Core Java fundamentals and technologies (Java/J2EE/JSP/JMS)
• Solid understanding of Spring Web Flow or AJAX or MVC.
• Solid understanding of CFX (preferable) or AXIS or JERSEY framework.
• Solid understanding of SOA principles, tools and technologies
• Understanding of Java 1.5+ features such as annotations, generics.
• Understanding of java servlets, servlet filters, java web applications in general.
• JQuery experience is a plus.
• Spring Framework and Spring MVC experience is a plus.
• Spring 3 annotation-based MVC is a major plus.
• Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL is a Plus
