We are in search of a talented web content developer who can help us with producing web pages from a variety of sources and experienced with HML/CSS development. This person will be a member of a growing team and truly have an impact in how we communicate with our developer community that is 140,000 and counting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Website programming -- produce web pages from a variety of sources, leveraging new content, existing graphic assets, and templates. When needed create new template and pages from photoshop files.
Competent with current web standards, HTML/CSS, SEO, and writes clean code.
Good understand of cross-browser and cross-platform issues. These need to be produced under tight deadlines, tested thoroughly, and look exactly as designed, often with several rounds of changes.
HTML email programming -- produce emails using inline styles and HTML/CSS from Photoshop files and interface with Marketo marketing automation system on various email projects.
Web content management -- Work with existing CMS (Wordpress and Drupal) and marketing automation tools, including MySQL and Marketo.
Visual aptitude and attention to detail (code must look like the design).
REQUIREMENTS:
1-3 years experience producing commercial web sites, content and email.
Strong knowledge of web technology stack, including: HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, SQL and PHP in web publishing/templates
Demonstrated experience building cross-browser/platform HTML email templates from scratch and/or photoshop files
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining WordPress site templates and web pages
