Sr Software Engineer- Data Systems
ActiveVideo Networks is looking for skilled and highly motivated, Senior SW Engineer interested in helping develop the next generation of the Active Video Platform. This position involves work on ActiveVideo Core and Reporting Frameworks, including end to end development, from assisting in requirements definition to design, coding and unit test
Qualifications:
• 10 years+ experience as a SW Engineer developing on Linux Platform
• Senior level experience with Python, PHP, LAMP
• Extensive design and development experience with Data Warehousing, ETL
• Extensive development experience with relational DBMS. Knowledge on non-relational DBMS is a plus.
• Solid experience with Java, C, C++
• Experience with XML/XML Schema/XSL
• In-depth knowledge of WEB protocols and standards such as HTTP/HTTPS/SOAP,JSON, etc
• Experience with each phase of the software development life cycle
• Proven results-oriented individual with an ability to analyze problems and think creatively.
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
• Knowledge of SNMP is a plus
Education:
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
