Job Title: Python Developer

Term: Full Time

Job Description:
Our San Francisco client is the leading developer of note-taking and geo-tagging apps in the Google Android Market with more than 7 million active installs on Android powered smartphones. Our apps also work on iPad, iPhone, and the web. We makes it easy to capture and tag notes, places, photos, voice and other information and save it securely online. We are working on some very interesting technical problems and need some additional talent for our team. If you are passionate about ease-of-use and have a strong appreciation for good design and clean code, we should talk.

Required Skills:
We are seeking someone adept with some or all of the following technologies:

· Python, Pylons, Paster

· TDD experience

· Nose testing, including using test generators

· MongoDB and other NoSQL storage approaches.

· JSON

· bug finder and fixer

· Python threading, greenlets, Tornado, or other ways to manage multiple tasks

· Experience with Amazon S3

· Knowledge of OpenID, OAuth2 and similar security protocols

· Scaling server throughput by using load-balancing, reverse proxy caches, memcache, etc.

· Python metaprogramming, decorators, and generators

· Mobile experience is a plus


Desired Skills:
Other plusses:

· Javascript knowledge a plus

· Distributed systems experience a plus

· Some sys admin background is helpful for triaging production issues

· Log file analysis and performance profiling

· BSCS is definitely a plus
