Position: Java Developer (Open Source)
Duration: 6-months to 1 year
Location: San Jose, CA

*Experienced Java developer to develop software using Open Source.
*Build a stand alone Java App with GUI to help clients install software.
*Used for provisioning VMWare and provisioning switches.
*Must have knowledge how to set up infrastructure and frameworks for development.
*Candidate must have experience and knowledge how to interface with the backend.
*Strong Java developer with 5+ years of experience in setting up infrastructure
*Solid knowledge of frameworks to select and design and to be able to work with backend Engineers for set up.
*Solid written and verbal communication is essential.
*Candidate will meet with stakeholders to define need, Create prototype and then refine until design is complete and released.
*Candidate needs to be able to do both: Stand Alone and Web Based GUI.
*Candidate will be responsible for selecting new infrastructure, open source software and development
*Once initial environment is set-up, candidate will be responsible for Design, Development and Sustaining for the duration of the engagement.
