B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 4+ years, 3+ years (BS), 1+ years (MS).
Overall job description:
This position is for an individual contributor whose primary responsibility will be to design, develop, execute and maintain a comprehensive, automated testing platform for company products. In additional to performing the primary activities listed above, the candidate may be responsible for general bug fixing, enhancements, test suite development, user support and participation in all other activities defined in the company's product development process and as requested by their manager.
General:
Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced adaptive environment, self-starter, tech junkie and strong team player required.
Skills:
• Knowledge and understanding of standard techniques related to software verification and validation testing.
• Knowledge and understanding of Java, C++, XML, XSLT, HTTP, HTML, Javascript, Python, SQL and object-oriented design.
• Prior experience in the design, development, deployment and maintenance of automated software verification and validation frameworks a plus.
• Prior experience in the design and development of web-based software solutions a plus.
• Working knowledge of Agile development processes.
• Working knowledge of modern software development tools including bug tracking systems, source code revision control, and automated testing and code optimization a plus.
Proficient in Linux and Windows environments
Specific Responsibilities:
Specific responsibility related to the design, development, execution and maintenance of the automated testing platform for company products.
Specific responsibility related to the specification, integration, deployment, execution and maintenance of the engineering team software build environment and toolset
Specification, design, development, deployment and maintenance of data collection and automation tools related to the generation and maintenance of company's internal test data set
Specification, design, development, deployment and maintenance of test result collection & reporting tools
Adherence to and active participation in the continuous development and improvement of all engineering team quality policies and processes
