• Design, implement, and maintain Amazon Web Services.
• Design, maintain, and expand Python scripts that integrate with DB and distribute email/MMS.
• Implement and integrate existing account DB and services with AWS.
• Implement and maintain databases for project assets, user accounts, and meta information.
• Expand and maintain RESTful web services.
• Expand and maintain complex search routines
• Work in creative environment with a small, tight-knit team of engineers and designers
• Knowledgeable of back-end technologies: Java, MySQL, PHP, Python, cron services, and general web services & Linux technologies.
General Requirements
• BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Well-rounded engineer with programming and implementation skills
• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Experience designing and implementing scripts to support outside-the-sandbox tasks.
• Experience working with databases, complex search routines, and account services.
• Experience with RESTful services.
• Flexible and personable while being able to perform under occasional short development cycles
• Knowledge of HTTP
Core Skills (2+ years experience of at least 3 of the following)
• Amazon Web Services
• Python Scripting (or other scripting language)
• Database Technologies / MySQL
• RESTful web services
• Search technologies
• Java (OOP)
Bonus Skills
• Familiarity with video processing (ffmpeg)
• C++ / C#
• Android/IOS Development
