Sr. Java Developer needed for long term consulting project at excellent client company (Fortune 500, Public, Growing).

*Must Have US Education Experience, a Bachelors or Masters from US Institution*

*Must Have Direct Experience with Data Structures, Algorithms, Networking*

Responsibilities: Contribute to the Development of eCommerce Applications and Internet/Web programs.

Required Skills:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a professional development environment.
- 2+ years of web application development experience.
- A strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms is required.
- Ability to develop new and innovative applications as well as maintaining existing code.
- Strong experience with Java is required.
- Demonstrated experience architecting, developing and deploying high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed applications is required.
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills are required.
- Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in SQL and data modeling is required.
- Experience with ORM products is required.
- Experience with component based web application frameworks is required; Web Objects experience is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
- A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
