Education
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field.
Work Experience: 4+ years (BS), 2+ years (MS).

Skills:
• Deep knowledge & understanding of C++, Java, Python, SQL, HPC, MPI, algorithm design, database design, system architecture, program optimization, & object-oriented design. Additional skill set in J2E, XML, HTTP, HTML, & Javascript a big plus.
• Prior exp in the design & development of enterprise software solutions.
• Prior exp in the design & development of high performance computing systems.
• Strong working knowledge of modern software development tools including bug tracking systems, source code revision control, & automated testing & code optimization required.

Overall job description:
This position is for an individual contributor whose primary responsibility will be to liaison with the research team to transition, rewrite, debug, & optimize algorithms designed for high performance computing & to design, development & deliver new cloud services to company customers. In additional to performing the primary development activities listed above, the candidate may be responsible for general bug fixing, enhancements, test suite development, user support & participation in all other activities defined in the company's product development process & as requested by their manager.

Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced adaptive environment, self-starter, tech junkie, development guru and strong team player required.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Intellectual ownership & specific responsibility related to the transition, debug & optimization of core algorithms developed by the research team for deployment in the company service cloud.
2. Intellectual ownership and specific responsibility related to the design, development, testing and delivery of the core automation framework supporting the execution, monitoring and management of the core algorithms within the company cloud system.
3. Design, development, integration, testing & maintenance of specific service & monitoring interfaces & functionality for all components associated with the core algorithms & automation framework.
4. Adherence to & active participation in the continuous development & improvement of all engineering team quality policies and processes
